Welcome to Flamingo, an independent, family run licensed Cafe~Bar on Billericay High Street.

With a background in hospitality, I always dreamed of one day owning my own tea shop - a tea shop with a difference!

When the opportunity came up we knew the decor and style that we wanted and after discovering that flamingos are born grey and then turn pink when they grow up, Flamingo it had to be  - it was perfect!

We are passionate about using only fresh and locally sourced ingredients to produce some delicious homemade dishes to suit everyone. The menu is influenced by some of the countries I have been lucky enough to have lived and worked in over the years. Can you guess which countries they are? 

From morning coffee, brunch to lunch, afternoon tea, or a slice of cake from our large selection of homemade cakes  (including vegan and GF choices) during the day we have a bright and airy space to welcome you in to enjoy a lovely catch up with friends and family. 

Late afternoon through until 11pm we want to create a relaxing atmosphere where you can come to enjoy a nice glass of wine or even a cocktail along with platters and nibbles etc. We have comfortable seats, including outdoor seating,  friendly table service, spots to sit back and watch the world go by along the high street. 

We have various specials for you to try on our specials board and events planned to look forward to. Pop in and see us some time. We would love to welcome you in our friendly, home from home cafe.
